A Medium Clay Baker for Healthy Cooking

You can’t seem to start the new year without thinking about making New Year’s resolutions. It might be that it’s time to quit smoking or maybe try to get more sleep every night. Of course, I think one of the biggest resolutions most of us make is losing weight. Whether it’s that annoying ten pounds you put on every winter, or the goal to lose fifty or more pounds, losing weight means two big things. One, you have to be serious about getting in a regular amount of exercise and activity. And two, you have to eat healthier and watch your portion sizes. This Romertopf medium clay baker is a wonderful way to prepare you favorite foods without having to add any extra fats or oils. (more…)

Cooking in Style in Colorful Shibori Apron

I try to have my ingredients laid out in advance before I dig in, but there are always the minor spills of flour or sauce to contend with. And of course I sometimes forget to change into something I don’t mind getting dirty. That’s why I’ve started wearing aprons when I cook, much like my mother and grandmother did before me. But I say if you have to wear an apron, why not cook in style and wear something unique like this Fun Shibori Kitchen Apron. (more…)

Whether it’s a work event, school event, or church event, when you attend a potluck, you are in for a treat. Oh, my mouth just waters even thinking about those little meatballs swimming around in that tangy sauce. If there is more than one meatball dish on the buffet, I’ll be sure to try one of each just to see how people are making theirs, and hopefully score a recipe or two. (more…)
